Can you really smoke this anywhere?
Our products provide the stimulating pleasure of smoking without the ignition of tobacco, without releasing thousands of chemicals, without over 40 carcinogenic substances, and without toxic polluting residues that pose a serious threat to you and your loved ones. These serious consequences associated with cigarette smoking have lead to new laws regulating when and where you are able to smoke. With Luci you can smoke whenever and wherever you want; even in places where you are prohibited such as in the workplace or at your favorite night club or restaurant. Since it does not burn like cigarettes, it does not release dense clouds of pollutants, chemicals, or other toxins associated with second-hand smoke. Luci doesn’t need to be lit and won’t cause a fire hazard like cigarettes. Your boss at work, your waiter at a restaurant, or club bouncer will most likely allow you to smoke this device on their premises.

Will I get in trouble if I use this where smoking isn’t permitted?
Legal bans include a precise definition of smoking that includes burning of cigarette tobacco specifically. Our product does not pose a serious fire hazard nor does it release second-hand smoke pollutants so you should be able to smoke this product anywhere you go. However, it’s also important to note that property owners have the right to regulate what is done on their property. Don’t be surprised if you are confronted over Luci’s use since it looks so much like real cigarette smoking. Our device looks like a real cigarette, releases a vapor similar to cigarette smoke, and even features a LED at the tip that lights up like a burning cigarette when you inhale. Nonetheless, people that you come across while using Luci smokes will truly be amazed and probably won’t mind you using it after explaining how it works. However, some places might not be the appropriate for its use out of respect or obligation to others. We encourage you to be courteous wherever you use our device.

What are the main ingredients in the cartridge?
Replacement cartridges contain nicotine (in levels of high, medium, and no nicotine), propylene glycol, tobacco flavoring, and other flavoring ingredients. These cartridges come in various flavors and nicotine contents to satisfy the needs of various people. Propylene glycol is a water based ingredient found in many health products and medicines. None of the ingredients in the cartridges have been verified to be carcinogenic.

Who should not use this product?
Minors under the age of 18 or under the State-determined legal age to purchase cigarettes are prohibited from using this product.
Product is not intended for non-smokers.
People allergic to nicotine or any other ingredients within inhalants. Continued use is prohibited for those who suffer any adverse reaction to the product.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women

Is this a “kick the habit” device?
Luci is the best alternative to smoking; however, it is not marketed as or meant to be a smoking cessation device. For that claim to be valid, long-term tests must prove its efficacy for that purpose. Current smoking cessation products deliver nicotine in different ways, different amounts, and may require prescriptions to obtain. If you wish to stop smoking we advise you to use FDA approved smoking cessation products. Moreover, you should not use our product if you are taking these nicotine supplements to prevent over-consumption. Our smoking product is not intended for, non-smokers, ex-smokers, or those who wish to stop cigarette smoking altogether. It may not be used as a way to temporarily or permanently treat nicotine addiction or any other disease for that matter.
Health concerns?
Luci can be used with cartridges containing nicotine, a highly addictive substance that’s used as a stimulant when absorbed in small quantities such as in cigarette smoking. Nicotine in our product is delivered in a similar method as in traditional cigarettes. Therefore, the same precautions and health risks for nicotine use in cigarettes apply to nicotine cartridge use in our product. Do not over-smoke our product. Instead, take natural breaks between smoking our product. Cigarettes may burn out, but our product can be used continually without a natural break such as when your cigarette burns out. Additionally, our products are not for minors, non-smokers, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people suffering from heart disease, irregular rhythmic heart beats, asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, or any other serious medical condition. Talk with your physician if you are under medication. Nicotine may interfere with certain medications or treatments. If you experience an allergic reaction or experience symptoms of nicotine overdose such as nausea, vomiting, confusion, cold-sweat, weakness, altered respiration or heartbeats, seizure, or if you experience any other negative side effect, cease use and seek medical attention. Refer to the user manual for more detailed health warnings and disclaimers.

Are there any warnings?
As with any electrical device, misuse could potentially lead to a hazard. However, our products are CE and ROHS certified. Given proper handling you should not experience any problems. Generally, do not expose product components to water, extreme heat, or collision. Keep out of reach of children as cartridge pieces may present a choking hazard and ingestion of concentrated nicotine may be toxic. Refer to our user manual for more detailed safety information involving use of our electric device and charging unit.
How long does the battery last?
Our starter kit comes with a sleek battery and an extended battery that last about a day’s worth of smoking. You can charge one while you use the other. For heavier smokers, we recommend the purchase of our car charging unit and USB charger so you will always have a fully charged device. Batteries are consumable/rechargeable (please dispose properly). Like most rechargeable batteries these may run out in time. So, when the quality of the battery reduces to where it may not suit your needs, you may need to purchase a replacement battery.
How much nicotine is in each cartridge?
* High nicotine: ~16 mg per cartridge * Medium nicotine: ~11 mg per cartridge * Zero nicotine: 0 mg per cartridge Each full flavor cigarette contains about one or more milligrams of nicotine. Since about one cartridge equals about 15 or more cigarettes, high nicotine cartridges contains slightly less than the average full flavor cigarette. Medium nicotine cartridges contain less nicotine per cigarette equivalency than ‘Light’ cigarettes. Zero nicotine cartridges are also sold. These will provide you the least possible risk.

How long will a single cartridge last before running out?
A typical cartridge is equivalent to about 15 cigarettes or more. The cost of smoking our product is a fraction of the cost of purchasing packs of cigarettes.
